The Federal capital territory of Nigeria, Abuja recorded over 500 fire incidence in 2021 according to reports from the fire service, Asokoro, Abuja. It was reported that a total of 570 fire incidents occurred in the previous year.
It was reported that between 2020 and 2021, a total of 4,541 calls were made to the agency nationwide and 378 rescue emergencies were recorded.
