Dr Ramon Adedoyin, the founder of Oduduwa University and Ile-Ife Polytechnic have been arrested by the Osun State Police Command in connection with the death of a Master’s degree student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State identified as Mr Timothy Adegoke.
This was disclosed by osun state Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode, through the command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, It was stated that Dr Ramon who happens to be the Chairman of Hilton Hotel and Resort, Ile-Ife, was arrested on November 15.
According to the police boss, Adedoyin is currently in police detention undergoing interrogation in connection with the case while the police are awaiting the autopsy report from the hospital.
He also assured that updates on the case would be made public as the event unfolds.
