The eading Vibe LTD singer broke a streaming record set by machala himself, Wizkid. Tems has unseat Wizkid as the most-streamed afrobeat artist on Spotify.
Tems has twelve million monthly listeners on Spotify’s streaming platform, making her the first female artist and overall act in Africa to make up such a high number of listeners. The number of her listeners skyrocketed after she was featured on Drake’s album, ‘Certified Lover Boy’.
Recall that Tems initially have seven million monthly listeners as at 1st of September but with Drake’s feature and Essence taking over, she surpassed Wizkid who has over ten million monthly listeners on Spotify.
