Report have it that Police in Uganda says at least one person have been confirmed dead and seven others with serious injuries in an explosion in the Ugandan capital, kampala.

Uganda president Yoweri Museveni however said the Explosion in the Nations capital might be a terrorist attack. The president however promise to track down those involved in the deadly attack.

According to report, the blast went off on Saturday night at a bar and street food eatery in Kampala, which is said to be a largely residential neighborhood, as reported by BBC pidgin correspondent. Authority’s have seal off the area and begin investigations to know what cause the blast.

Many panic that the event was bomb explosion, but police is yet to confirm reports of bomb attack and investigation is on going on the cause.

Last week, UK goment issue alert to the Uganda citizens, warning of possible terrorist activity in the country. As it was recalled in 2010 when a bomb blast incident happened during the World Cup finals football game, which left at least 70 people dead in Kampala, Uganda’s capital.
